When you are in a business for six decades, that too in a segment where a tiny bit of goof up can cost you all the prestige earned, you can never ever fail to deliver. And that’s precisely what I appreciate the most about Klipsch. They started out in 1946 and since then they have managed to satisfy countless audiophiles with there successive products.

I have been thoroughly enjoying my life with the Apple iPhone for a while now and I wanted to try out a different set of earphones that would work not just with my iPhone but other devices too. And I instinctively turned to the tried and trusted Klipsch and bought the Klipsch Custom-1 earphones. At the very onset I liked the dark grey colour and oval shape of the earphones; nice, different and attractive. The way they rested so comfortably in the ears made the experience of enjoying the music even better. (Interestingly, when no audio was being played, I once even checked with my hands to see if they were really there in the ears.)

I don’t enjoy the freely hanging ear wires and that’s another issue that gets resolved with this pair. Klipsch has provided flexible ear wires that go around the ears and you can adjust them as per your comforts without allowing them to get entangled with your other accessories.

Discussing ear phones and not talking about sound quality. Well, that’s the biggest winner here. The audio is very clear including the bass, the high and low notes and practically all the ranges. And yes, this performance has been made possible thanks to the exclusive KG332 balanced armatures.

Some of the other outstanding features of this product are its durable and very long cables (50in), five sets of different-sized ear tips and an ear tip cleaning tool. It also has a sturdy box to keep all these things that you can easily keep it in your purse.

This pair is compatible with a whole range of Apple iPods and many other portable devices. What’s more, it has been priced competitively.
