What does the typical iPhone user look like? How do they think, what are their hobbies, and what would they like most to be done with iPhone? For us over here at pink iPhone there is only one thing we want above everything else: for Apple to release a pink iPhone version! While many people no doubt share our vision, a study by Rubicon Consulting took a look at all iPhone users and came up with a wide array of interesting desires, traits and results. Hopefully Apple is listening.

In response to the first question on how a typical iPhone owner looks, the survey discovered that the average iPhone user looks young. Because the average iPhone owner is under 30 and 15 percent are even still students. But the interesting pieces of information didn’t end there. In fact, the study found many people didn’t even use the iPhone for phoning and instead carried a second phone with them, while the iPhone has actually replaced the laptop for others. Clearly this demonstrates the remarkable power and versatility of the iPhone, given that some people choose to use the iPhone solely for its “secondary” functions like music, reading email, and watching videos. With such potential and progress in replacing even laptop computers, it is clear the iPhone’s success can only grow.

Which brings us to our final and most pressing topic of concern. What do iPhone users want to be done differently? When asked this question nearly half of all respondents, 43%, supported making at least one major physical change to the iPhone: which includes making it smaller or larger, adding a keyboard, or keypad. But it could maybe even include producing a PINK iPhone version, because a pink iPhone would easily be considered a major physical change. With this urgent desire from many users, Apple will have to examine which changes to implement, and turning the iPhone pink will no doubt present one of their simplest and most promising options.
